Refund Policy

At Dotcom Tours and Travel Ltd, we strive to provide clear, fair, and transparent refund guidelines. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued and helps set clear expectations for our clients.

General Policy

All bookings made with Dotcom Tours and Travel Ltd are subject to this Refund Policy. By confirming a booking, the client agrees to the terms outlined below. Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to administrative, supplier, and service charges.

Cancellations by the Client

If a client chooses to cancel a booking, the following refund conditions apply:

  • More than 30 days before travel: Eligible for a partial refund, less non-refundable deposits, supplier penalties, and administrative fees.
  • 15–29 days before travel: A reduced refund may be issued, subject to supplier cancellation charges.
  • 14 days or less before travel: No refund will be issued due to commitments already made with service providers.

Refund amounts depend on third-party supplier policies, including airlines, hotels, lodges, and activity providers.

Non-Refundable Services

Certain services are strictly non-refundable. These may include but are not limited to:

  • Airline tickets with restrictive fare rules
  • Visa processing fees
  • Special permits and government fees
  • Customized or tailor-made travel arrangements already confirmed
  • Last-minute bookings

These will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

Cancellations or Changes by Dotcom Tours and Travel Ltd

In the unlikely event that Dotcom Tours and Travel Ltd must cancel or significantly alter a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (such as safety concerns, natural disasters, or operational issues), clients will be offered:

  • A full refund for unused services, or
  • An alternative tour or revised itinerary of equal value, or
  • A travel credit for future use

We are not responsible for additional expenses incurred by clients, such as visa fees, vaccinations, or personal insurance costs.

Refunds Due to Force Majeure

No refunds will be issued for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies
  • Government restrictions or border closures
  • Acts of terrorism or civil unrest
  • Airline strikes or delays

In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule services or offer travel credits where possible.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, delays, and unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance is the responsibility of the client.

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
  • Refunds may take 14–30 business days to process, depending on banks and third-party providers.
  • Currency exchange differences and bank charges may apply and are non-refundable.

No-Show Policy

Failure to appear for a tour, transfer, accommodation, or activity without prior notice will be treated as a no-show and is not eligible for a refund.

Amendments to This Policy

Dotcom Tours and Travel Ltd reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Any updates will be published on our official website and apply to bookings made after the effective date.
